Man charged over crash that killed policeman Dennis Cox

A man has been charged over a crash that killed an off-duty policeman who was cycling in Victoria last year.

Police allege the 57-year-old man was driving a vehicle that struck Leading Senior Constable Dennis Cox on Sea Lake Road in Sea Lake on November 12.

Major collision investigation detectives have charged the local man with culpable driving.

He has been bailed to appear in Mildura Magistrates’ Court on May 18.
