Toorak couple struck by ute a pedestrian crossing in Melbourne, one critical

A man and woman have been struck by a ute in Melbourne’s southeast while they were walking over a pedestrian crossing.

Victoria Police said the pair, a 72-year-old man and 67-year-old woman, were on the crossing on Toorak Road near Irving Road in Toorak about 9pm on Tuesday.

They were both then hit by a black Holden utility.
